So what is the BEST Artwork for you?
Let's start with Contemporary. I Love Contemporary Artwork! It's vibrant in colors it has movement and it can capture different colors in your home or Office. To me it is appealing to the eye! I hear people sometimes say they don't understand contemporary artwork and they could paint that piece they just saw. Well I don't think so....Artists who paint Contemporary Art put their feelings and thoughts into their work. If you ever talk with a Contemporary Artist there is usually more to the painting than meets the eye. There is deep feelings put into the movement of the artwork. The vibrant colors show the personality of that artist. So next time you look at that Contemporary Artwork, look below the surface and feel the Artwork!
Realistic Artwork is Beautiful. It can show you a Beautiful Landscape, Animals, People in great detail. This shows what that Artist of the time saw in their world. You can put yourself in that painting and feel the emotion, the calmness or the busyness of that world put before you. We relate the most to the Realistic Paintings, Drawings or Sculptures because this is what can reflect our life.
Historical Artwork is so interesting. We can look at the Beautiful painting with all the Historical detail in a cowboy's clothing or an Indian woman's beautiful beaded dress. It tells a story about our past. Another Historical Artwork that we enjoy is our own Heirloom pieces from Great Grand Mother's Wedding Dress, A Broncos Signed Jersey to our Son or Daughter's Baby Outfit. This is All History!
So what is the BEST Artwork for You? There is no right or wrong answer here. Artwork is to be enjoyed by you. How you feel about your life reflects in your taste and choice of Artwork. So when you go out and see All the different Artwork in YOUR Community, take a step back and just enjoy all the choices you do have in this wonderful world of Art!
